I asked my CHN if I could start DS on something...

I asked my CHN if I could start DS on something like farrex or veges and she said no way, not till he's at least six months old. While doing the groceries I saw some farrex for 4mths+, has anyone tried this. Also, has anyone's CHN told them not to start solids but you did anyway??
